An essential course for anyone using or changing wheels on either bench mounted or portable grinders. Covering all aspects of health and safety, the different types of wheels for different uses, the safe fitting, care and use of the equipment.

Tractor Maintenance

A hands on practical one-day course covering all aspects of normal maintenance of the tractor. A very beneficial course for young entrants and those new to the general maintenance of tractors.

PTO Shafts & Guards

A highly practical session covering all aspects of PTO’s to ensure their life is prolonged and they work efficiently. Identifying faults and correcting, looking at causes of deterioration, correct cleaning and maintenance, removal of damaged guards and preparing the shaft for new guards.A very worthwhile course of between four and five hours.

Farm Vehicle Electrics

An extremely practical one day course covering understanding electrics, motors and solenoids, wiring, fault finding on farm vehicles. Rewiring and connections, other tractor checks, battery sizes, starter motors, alternator and its loading.
