Chainsaw Maintenance & Cross Cutting – two-day course

This course covers all aspects of health and safety, the maintenance of the machine and safe use and techniques of operation. Either Lantra Awards Integrated Training and Assessment or NPTC City & Guilds Assessment are available.

Chainsaw Felling Small Trees up to 380mm – three day course

A highly practical course covering the safe felling of trees up to 380mm, also hung up trees.Chainsaw Maintenance and Crosscutting is a pre-requisite for attendance of this course. The three day course can be combined with the two day Chainsaw Maintenance and Crosscutting course, after which the NPTC City & Guilds CS 30 and 31 Assessment will be completed.

Refresher Training for Maintenance and Crosscutting – one day course

Refresher Training for Felling Trees up to 380mm – two day course

Refresher training is required every three years, if an occasional user of the chainsaw, and every five years if used on a regular weekly basis.

Felling Medium Trees 380mm – 760mm – three day course

Chainsaw Maintenance, Crosscutting and Felling Trees up to 380mm is a pre-requisite for attendance of this course. NPTC City & Guilds Assessment follows this course to gain a Certificate of Competence.

Powered Pole Saw Pruner – one or two-day course

This training and assessments can be completed in one day if already holding a Chainsaw CS 30 CS31 Certificate; if not two days will be required. Lantra Awards or NPTC City & Guilds Assessment available.

Wood chipper – one day course

Lantra Awards or NPTC City & Guilds Assessment available.

Brushcutter / Strimmer – one or two days depending on previous experience

Lantra Awards or NPTC City & Guilds Assessment available.

Hedge Trimmer – one day course

Lantra Awards Certificate of Competence.

Mowers – A full range of Tractor Mounted, Ride On and Pedestrian Mowers.
